Under the surface of the known lands lies a forgotten world, deep and silent, filled with mystery, magical wonders and dangers. There dwells the people of below, creatures of myths and legends, guarding the treasures of the underworld against those from above. The races from the surface have always coveted the rare ores and gems hidden in the ground, in dark caves under mighty mountains, and have more than once provoked the ire of the native inhabitants by their greed. Many wars have been fought for acquiring the wealth and hopes of the underworld. Many adventurers have died defiling the corridors of ancient dungeons.

Erdluitl is a real time strategy game, inspired by Dungeon Keeper and other old school RTS, combining RPG and Roguelike elements. The game mechanics are built around digging rooms and corridors in the underground, placing buildings and managing population, keeping your king alive and trying to kill the enemy one. Various tactics may be employed to attain such a goal, brute force or more subtle approach, treason or espionage. You will have to attract creatures into your dungeon, train them into a deadly host of warriors, forge weapons, research improvements and discover spells to throw in battle.

(1 edit)

Trying out the demo here.
3rd level seem a bit difficult.
Can't seem to avoid the enemies, spiders notice me from the edge of the screen. Enemies are blocking the door. I can defeat just one, and then run out of hp. Any hints?

Hey,  thank you for your post !

There are Life Potions hidden through almost every level that you can keep through the campaign.

Spiders will roam randomly across the map. You should be around level 2 at this point.

What do you mean by enemies are blocking the doors ? You should be able to pass through.

I have level up, but when I click it, , it says "no spells yet (Skill Points:1)) and nothing happens.
I used all potion on previous level and exited with about 5hp.

As for the doors, Skeleton is blocking first bottom doors attacking it.
And right doors similarly gets blocked by spider behind it.

Oh ! I just realized I must have uploaded the wrong demo version. Some things are missing. I'll fix this tomorrow. Hope you'll try it again !

I will.
